Το project «Βράδυ στην άκρη της πόλης» ξεκίνησε πριν το lockdown και συνεχίζεται ακόμα.
«Κορίτσια με λαμέ φορέματα και βαθιά ντεκολτέ.
Αγόρια με τατουάζ και τσιγάρο στέκονται κάτω από την λάμπα του δρόμου.
Αυτοκίνητα πειραγμένα και μηχανές σε όλα τα χρώματα περνάνε ξυστά μαρσάροντας.
Νταλίκες στην άκρη του δρόμου.
Μυρωδιά από σπιτικό φαγητό και χόρτο.
Από ένα ανοιχτό παραθυρο μπορείς ν ακούσεις Τρύπες – Δε χωράς πουθενά»

Bio
Ονομάζομαι ‘Ελενα Λόλα, γεννήθηκα και μεγάλωσα στην Αθήνα, ταξίδεψα και τα τελευταία έξι χρόνια που έχω επιστρέψει μόνιμα στην Ελλάδα ασχολούμαι σταθερά με την φωτογραφία και το βίντεο.
Παρακολούθησα μαθήματα φωτογραφίας και ιστορίας της τέχνης, σεμινάρια, workshops και διαλέξεις και έχω πάρει μέρος σε ομαδικές εικαστικές εκθέσεις σε εκθεσιακούς χώρους και γκαλερί, συμμετέχοντας με φωτογραφία video art και installation.
Αυτή την περίοδο, ταυτόχρονα με την φωτογραφία γυρίζω μία ταινία μικρού μήκους και παρακολουθώ μαθήματα κινηματογράφου

The “Night at the edge of the city” project first started before the lockdown and is still ongoing.
“Girls in shiny dresses and revealing necklines;
Boys with tattoos and cigarettes stand under the street lamp;
Tuned cars and motorcycles in all colors march past;
Heavy trucks on the side of the road;
The smell of homemade food and weed;
From an open window the sound of Trypes band, playing -Den choras pouthena”
Bio
My name is Elena Lola, I was born and raised in Athens, traveled around for a bit, and for the past six years I have returned permanently to Greece. During that time, I have been working consistantly with photography and video.
I attended photography and art history courses, seminars, workshops and lectures and I have taken part in group exhibitions in various art spaces and galleries, participating with photography, video art and installation.
During this period, parallel with photography, I am shooting a short film and attending film classes.
