Hello mr.Andy Cox and thank you for accepting to give this interview. Screenwritter, snapper, idiot, savant. These four words are on your description in your account. I see them in two pairs that set the stage of your antithetical portfolio. How do you define contrast into photography? Thanks very much, […]
Περισσότερα ›I had the pleasure of following you since my early days on Instagram and I was and still am amazed by all the little stories that your photos carry. For example, this is a stereotypical grandmother that poses as shy as a girl, how did you manage this shot? Firstly, […]

Self-portrait photography: I think that to enjoy this “power” of photography, one has to be a certain type a person, have a certain type of personality: it’s almost this unique blend of vanity mixed with self-criticism, or self-deprecation. I would describe it as being “an ego-maniac with low self-esteem” to borrow a phrase I once heard. You have to be brave and a little twisted to enjoy this process, I think. Περισσότερα ›When I am preparing an interview I study the photographer thoroughly. In your case I had the distinct feeling I was in a weird dream. What is your take on reality? Travel is always inspiring to me, but I never want to take a photo that looks like something […]
Περισσότερα ›Black and white photography encourages a deeper look at the details, contrasts and the dramatic luminance. The magic lies in the subtle interweaving of emotions, lights and shadows. There is something alluring in that, which cannot be achieved with colour photography I think.
Περισσότερα ›Nicolas Marchant has been a total pleasure to interview with his special cinematic background and his insomnia which leads to wonderful night captures. He explains all about these things in the interview that follows. Nicolas, something’s telling me you’ve got a cinematic background. What’s your knowledge on photography and filming? […]

We are surrounded by different realities. How we perceive these are of course highly individual; sometimes an abstracted reality can evoke discomfort because it forces us to deal with preconceptions and misconceptions.
