“A Closer Look II” | Έκθεση φωτογραφίας στην FokiaNou Art Space
Η FokiaNou Art Space παρουσιάζει την ομαδική έκθεση “A Closer Look II” με έργα πέντε καλλιτεχνών που εξερευνούν διαφορετικές όψεις της ανθρώπινης εμπειρίας. Η έκθεση εστιάζει στη λεπτομέρεια και στη βαθύτερη παρατήρηση, από το σώμα και την πόλη έως τη φύση και τη μνήμη.

Η Buschbeck εξερευνά τη λεπτή συνομιλία ανθρώπου και φύσης: τον αέναο ρυθμό άνθισης και κατάρρευσης, τα ίχνη μεταμόρφωσης, το φως και το σκοτάδι. Αναρωτιέται πώς η φύση αντανακλά τον άνθρωπο και αν η γη μπορεί να κρατά μνήμη, εκεί όπου ο χρόνος τελειώνει και η μνήμη επιμένει.

Δήμητρα Γούναρη – Invisible Ecologies
Η Γούναρη εξερευνά τις αόρατες οικολογίες του φυσικού κόσμου μέσα από ψηφιακά μετασχηματισμένες φωτογραφίες τοπίου. Ρίζες, βράχοι, φυλλώματα και ροές νερού αποκαλύπτουν υπόγεια δίκτυα και αλληλεξαρτήσεις που συνήθως μένουν κρυμμένες. Η αρνητική χρωματική παλέτα αποσταθεροποιεί την οπτική συνήθεια, προτείνοντας το τοπίο ως ζωντανό, πολυεπίπεδο σύστημα.

Κυβέλη Ζαχαρίου – Στο Καμένο Δάσος
Ένα χρόνο μετά τις μεγάλες πυρκαγιές, η Ζαχαρίου επιστρέφει στα καμένα τοπία της Πεντέλης, της Πάρνηθας και της Ρόδου. Η φωτογραφική της ματιά συλλαμβάνει την εύθραυστη ισορροπία ανάμεσα στην απώλεια και την αναγέννηση ενός τοπίου που μεταμορφώνεται αργά, μέσα σε έναν κόσμο κλιματικών μεταβολών.

Βασίλης Κάντας – Functional Dyspepsia
Ο Κάντας προσεγγίζει τη λειτουργική δυσπεψία ως ψυχοσωματικό φαινόμενο και περιπλανιέται στην Αθήνα ακολουθώντας τα ίχνη της σωματικής δυσφορίας. Το σώμα γίνεται εργαλείο ανάγνωσης του αστικού τοπίου, αποκαλύπτοντας ιστορίες που επιμένουν κάτω από την επιφάνεια.

Τζώρτζια Τουλιάτου – One-Eleven. Palermo
Η φωτογραφική περιπλάνηση της Τουλιάτου στο Παλέρμο χαρτογραφεί μια πόλη μέσα από επιθυμίες φίλων της. Από την ένταση των αγορών έως τη σιωπή των εκκλησιών, οι εικόνες της συνδυάζουν γλυκύτητα, θνητότητα και το φως του ήλιου, αποκαλύπτοντας την πολλαπλότητα της αστικής εμπειρίας.

Το 2024 γιόρτασε δέκα χρόνια συνεχούς παρουσίας, έχοντας παρουσιάσει, υπό την επιμέλεια των Παναγιώτη Βούλγαρη και Mary Cox, περισσότερες από 70 ομαδικές, ατομικές και διατομικές εκθέσεις, καθώς και εργαστήρια και ομιλίες. Παράλληλα, ενισχύει σταθερά την εξωστρέφειά του μέσα από συμμετοχές σε σημαντικές διεθνείς διοργανώσεις, όπως η TRYST Art Fair στο Torrance Art Museum στο Λος Άντζελες, η έκθεση Athena στην Καρλσρούη (2025) και το SuperMarket Independent Art Fair στη Στοκχόλμη (2023, 2019), συμβάλλοντας στη διασύνδεση ανεξάρτητων καλλιτεχνικών χώρων και στη δημιουργία ενός ευρύτερου διεθνούς δικτύου συνεργασιών.

FokiaNou Art Space presents the group exhibition “A Closer Look II” with works by five artists who explore different aspects of the human experience. The exhibition focuses on detail and deeper observation, from the body and the city to nature and memory.
Bettina Buschbeck – The poetry of the earth is never dead
Buschbeck explores the delicate conversation between man and nature: the eternal rhythm of blossoming and decay, the traces of transformation, light and darkness. She wonders how nature reflects man and whether the earth can hold a memory, where time ends and memory persists.
Dimitra Gounari – Invisible Ecologies
Gounari explores the invisible ecologies of the natural world through digitally transformed landscape photographs. Roots, rocks, foliage and water flows reveal underground networks and interdependencies that are usually hidden. The negative color palette destabilizes the visual habit, suggesting the landscape as a living, multi-layered system.
Kiveli Zachariou – In the Burnt Forest
A year after the great fires, Zachariou returns to the burnt landscapes of Penteli, Parnitha and Rhodes. Her photographic eye captures the fragile balance between the loss and regeneration of a landscape that is slowly transforming, within a world of climate change.
Vassilis Kantas – Functional Dyspepsia
Kantas approaches functional dyspepsia as a psychosomatic phenomenon and wanders around Athens following the traces of physical discomfort. The body becomes a tool for reading the urban landscape, revealing stories that persist beneath the surface.
Georgia Touliatou – One-Eleven. Palermo
Her photographic wanderings in Palermo map a city through the desires of her friends. From the intensity of the markets to the silence of the churches, her images combine sweetness, mortality and sunlight, revealing the many layers of the urban experience.

FokiaNou Art Space is an active and open creative hub, promoting collaboration between Greek and international artists.
