Born in 1980 in Munich, Germany, my family kidnapped me to Pretoria, South Africa, in 1995.
After extensive travels through North- and South- America and a year in London, I started my education of photography at the Royal Academy of Arts in Ghent, Belgium, in 2003.
I finally knew what I wanted to be.
In 2007, I graduated with my film “Of Silesian Streets and German Potatoes” and won the prize for Best Young Visual Artist given to my by the Fotomuseum Antwerp.
Ever since then, I have collaborated with brands such as BMW, MINI, Universal Music and with prestigious media outlets including TAZ, Der Spiegel, VICE Magazine, and Frankfurter Rundschau.
Work on the documentary film “The March of Hope” led me to Greece in 2016, where I still love to spend my time – either working individually, as part of the collective Mind The Bump together with Vicky Markolefa, or not working at all.
