Αχιλλέας Λαχανάς – Underground
Στο υπόγειο ενός κόσμου όπου το φως αχνοφαίνεται κι ο χρόνος κυλάει όχι με τα λεπτά, αλλά με στάλες νερού που λιμνάζουν. Ανθρώπινες μορφές με φόντο το τσιμέντο αναζητούν το νόημα σε μια επιφάνεια που δεν υπόσχεται τίποτε. Εδώ, κάθε αντικείμενο είναι μνήμη. Κάθε φως μια αμφιβολία στο σκοτάδι, θέλει να υπάρξει, σαν ένα βλέμμα , σαν άδειο κάθισμα, σαν ένα σημάδι στο τοίχο, σαν αλαφιασμένο αγρίμι που ξεπηδά από τα βάθη του χρόνου, σαν οπτική μεταφορά του κενού της αναμονής και της απουσίας μέσα από μια παγωμένη οθόνη.
Bio
Γεννήθηκα και μεγάλωσα στο Αγρίνιο , ζω και εργάζομαι στην Αθήνα. Από το 2017 ασχολούμαι με τη φωτογραφία και παρακολουθώ τα μαθήματα του Βασίλη Γεροντάκου.
Achilleas Lachanas – Underground
In the basement of a world where the light fades and time flows not with minutes, but with stagnant drops of water. Human figures against a cement background search for meaning on a surface that promises nothing. Here, every object is a memory. Every light, a doubt in the dark, wants to exist, like a look, like an empty seat, like a mark on the wall, like a snared wild beast that springs from the depths of time, like a visual metaphor of emptiness, waiting and absence through a frozen screen.
Bio
I was born and raised in Agrinio, I live and work in Athens. Since 2017 I have been involved in photography and have been attending Vasilis Gerontakos’ classes.
