Τα όνειρα δραπετεύουν από τις χαραμάδες
και γλιστράνε στη ζωή
οι ελπίδες κουρνιάζουν στην φθορά
ο πόνος στάζει από τις ρωγμές
η αγάπη ξεχύνεται από τα χρώματα
ο χρόνος σφυρηλατεί την ύλη
ο άνθρωπος αλλοιώνει, δημιουργεί, καταστρέφει
το φως τρυπάει το σκοτάδι
το σκοτάδι παλεύει με το φως
η περιπλάνηση στο χθες, στο τώρα, στο αύριο
Ατέρμονο το ταξίδι της ζωής.
Η συλλογή αυτή φωτογραφιών προέκυψε από την περιπλάνηση μου σε πόλεις της Ελλάδας και του εξωτερικού. Παρατηρώντας γύρω μου βρήκα την ομορφιά σε απρόσμενα μέρη, σε ετοιμόρροπους τοίχους που αποκαλύπτουν πέπλα χρωμάτων, σε πόρτες που χάσκουν αποκαμωμένες, σε βάρκες που σάπιζουν στα λιμάνια και στην ανθρώπινη παρέμβαση που βάζει την δική της πινελιά για να ομορφύνει την ασχήμια των πόλεων. Οι εικόνες αυτές είναι ένα ταξίδι στην ζωή, στο παρελθόν που άφησε τα σημάδια του στην ύλη και στο παρόν που θέλει με τον δικό του τρόπο να δηλώσει συμμετοχή στο ταξίδι της ζωής.
Bio
Γεννήθηκε και μεγάλωσε στη Λάρισα. Σπούδασε Γαλλική Γλώσσα και Λογοτεχνία στο ΕΚΠΑ και στη συνέχεια Διδακτική της Αγγλικής Γλώσσας στο Goldsmiths College, University of London. Η αγάπη της για το χρώμα, τις υφές, τα υλικά και ο συνδυασμός αυτών την οδήγησε σε σπουδές πάνω στο interior design στη Regent Academy of Arts, London.
Η φωτογραφία μπήκε στη ζωή της όταν ήρθε στο σπίτι της μια μηχανή Zenith την δεκαετία του 80. Η ουσιαστική όμως σχέση μαζί της ξεκίνησε πριν από τέσσερα χρόνια όταν έγινε κομμάτι της ομάδας «Διαδρομές Photography Seminars» και το ταξίδι στον συναρπαστικό κόσμο της φωτογραφίας συνεχίζεται…

the hopes perch on wear
the pain drips from the cracks
the love gushes from the colours
the time forges the matter
the Man impairs, creates, destroys
the light pierces the darkness
the darkness wrestles with the light
the wandering in yesterday, today, tomorrow
Perpetual is the roaming of life.
This photo collection emerged from my wanderings through cities in Greece and beyond. By observing the world around me, I came to see beauty in the most unexpected places – in crumbling walls revealing layers of colour, in weary doors left ajar as if exhaling their final breath, in boats rotting in harbours and in the human touch that adds a stroke of colour attempting to beautify the ugliness of the urban landscape. These images are a journey through life itself – a glimpse of the past that has left its mark on the matter and of the presence that, in its own way, seeks to participate in the journey of life.
Bio
She was born and raised in Larissa. She studied French Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, and lately she pursued a degree in teaching English as a Foreign Language at Goldsmiths College, University of London.
Her love for colour, textures, materials and the creative way they can be brought together led her to study Interior Design at the Regent Academy of Arts in London.
Photography became part of her life when a camera first appeared in her home in the 80s. Yet, it was four years ago when she first attended «Diadromes Photography Seminars”, that her journey into photography began and that journey into this fascinating world continues to this day…
