Athens Photo World – Βραβεία | Οι τρεις φιναλίστ
Η κριτική επιτροπή, αποτελούμενη από τους Θωμά Δασκαλάκη, Νίκο Παλαιολόγο και Όλγα Στεφάτου ανέδειξε τους τρεις φιναλίστ για τα βραβεία Athens Photo World 2025. Με αλφαβητική σειρά:
Ελένη Αλμπαρόσα – «Το τελευταίο Πωγώνι»

Άγγελος Τζωρτζίνης – «Τοπία ενός μεταβαλλόμενου περιβάλλοντος»
Άγγελος Τζωρτζίνης – This photo shows the remnants of the houses that reappeared when the level of the Mornos artificial lake dropped following a drought, at the village of Kallio, about 240 km northwest of Athens, on November 3, 2025.
Νικόλας Χατζηπολίτης – «Ελεύθερος Χρόνος σε Πλαίσιο»
Νικόλας Χατζηπολίτης – Τρόφιμος του ιδρύματος περιμένει στην κεντρική τραπεζαρία για να χρησιμοποιήσει το κοινόχρηστο τηλέφωνο και να επικοινωνήσει με άτομο εκτός ιδρύματος. Η χρήση κινητών τηλεφώνων δεν επιτρέπεται· η επικοινωνία πραγματοποιείται μέσω τηλεφώνου με τηλεκάρτα.
Η τελική κατάταξη για την 1η θέση (3.000€), 2η θέση (2.000€) και 3η θέση (1.000€) θα ανακοινωθεί στην τελετή απονομής την Κυριακή 1 Μαρτίου 2026, στο Αεριοφυλάκειο 1 – Αμφιθέατρο Μιλτιάδης Έβερτ, Τεχνόπολη Δήμου Αθηναίων – Technopolis City of Athens
Το Athens Photo World ευχαριστεί θερμά την κριτική επιτροπή και ιδιαίτερα για την παρακάτω κοινή δήλωση των μελών: “Ευχόμαστε η βράβευση αυτή να συμβάλλει ουσιαστικά και με τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο στη φωτογραφική πορεία των finalists. Η τελική επιλογή είναι αποτέλεσμα δημιουργικού διαλόγου, με συμφωνίες αλλά και διαφωνίες, και με βασικά κριτήρια τη φωτογραφική γλώσσα, τη σημασία ή την πρωτοτυπία του θέματος στη δεδομένη χρονική συγκυρία, καθώς και την τεκμηρίωσή του μέσω του συνοδευτικού κειμένου. Μας δίνει ιδιαίτερη χαρά το γεγονός ότι για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία του διαγωνισμού, μία από τους finalists είναι γυναίκα φωτογράφος. Συγχαρητήρια και στους τρεις φωτογράφους, αλλά και σε όλες και όλους που υπέβαλαν συμμετοχή.”
Για 7η χρονιά, το Athens Photo World απονέμει τα βραβεία για το ελληνικό φωτορεπορτάζ χάρη στην υποστήριξη της ΔΕΗ Α.Ε. και του Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού.
Athens Photo World Awards – The Three Finalists!
The jury, consisting of Thomas Daskalakis, Nick Paleologos and Olga Stefatou, has selected the three finalists for the APW 2025 Awards. In alphabetical order:
Eleni Albarosa – “The Last Pogoni”

Aggelos Tzortzinis – “Landscapes of a Changing Environment”

Nikolas Hatzipolitis – “Leisure Time in a Frame”
Nikolas Hatzipolitis – An inmate waits in the central dining room to use the public telephone and contact someone outside the institution. The use of mobile phones is not permitted; communication takes place via telephone using a calling card.
The final ranking for 1st place (€3,000), 2nd place (€2,000), and 3rd place (€1,000) will be announced at the Awards Ceremony on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Gas Holder 1 – Miltiadis Evert Amphitheater, @Technopolis City of Athens
Athens Photo World sincerely thanks the jury and especially for the following joint statement: “We hope that this award will contribute substantially and in the best possible way to the photographic journey of the finalists. The final selection is the result of a creative dialogue, with agreements as well as disagreements, and with key criteria being the photographic language, the significance or originality of the subject in the given time frame, as well as its documentation through the accompanying text. We are particularly pleased by the fact that, for the first time in the history of the competition, one of the finalists is a woman photographer. Congratulations to all three photographers, as well as to everyone who submitted their work.”
For the 7th consecutive year, Athens Photo World honors Greek photojournalism thanks to the support of Public Power Corporation (PPC) and the Ministry of Culture.
