Ο φωτογράφος Γιώργος Καμηλάκης γεννήθηκε το 1984 στην Αμερική και τώρα ζει στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης. Από μικρή ηλικία ασχολήθηκε με τη ζωγραφική – μία αγάπη που κράτησε μέχρι το 2006, οπότε και αγόρασε την πρώτη του ψηφιακή φωτογραφική μηχανή. Από τότε ασχολείται μόνο με τη φωτογραφία. Αν και έχει παρακολουθήσει διάφορα σεμινάρια, ο ίδιος θεωρεί τον εαυτό του αυτοδίδακτο. Έχει πάρει μέρος σε πολλές ομαδικές εκθέσεις και έχει κάνει αρκετές δημοσιεύσεις σε ελληνικά και ξένα έντυπα. Δουλειά του εχει παρουσιαστει από Adobe, Vogue Italia, Fubiz κ.α Επιλεγμένα εργα του υπάρχουν στο νέο Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens.
